A New Honda Fit Is Getting Ready To Roll

Posted on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 in general

Honda has a new car in the pipeline. All set to hit the roads in 2011, the car will be an improved version of the earlier models of honda fit. The Honda Fir per se is a car known for its reliability, resale value and low running costs. Spacious and comfortable it was introduced in the US in 2007. Its specifications included 109 horsepower, 1.5 liter VTEC engine, front wheel drive and 5 speed manual or automatic transmission, with suspension and steering that gave it an edge over rival models and made it almost a sports car. One of the more notable features of the Honda Fit is its seating arrangement or rather its ‘magic seat’.

The back seat could be folded up in different ways, to facilitate all kinds of cargo carriage, even mountain bikes. 2009 saw an upgraded version of the Honda Fit. This time a touch-screen navigation panel and better audio connectivity struck a chord with buyers. Safety always being of paramount importance with the manufacturers did not fall short with this model either. Side and side-curtain bags and active head restraints made the Honda Fit one of the safest cars to drive in the small car segment. The new Honda Fit, Hybrid version due to roll out next year is slated to top the charts, what with IMA mild hybrid, Insight and 2010 CR-Z coupe the world waits with anticipation. Look forward to the ride, it promises to be a smooth one!
